How do I schedule an appointment?

What are your payment arrangements?
Since we do not bill our clients, we appreciate full payment on the day of the cleaning service. We accept cash, check and Chase Quick pay.A $25.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks, in addition to any other fees charged by the banks.
Does someone always have to be home while cleaning?
Not necessary. If you can’t be present the whole time during the cleaning or can’t let the cleaners in, please provide us with the information required to obtain access. It can be a note, granting Gia’s cleaning services permission to enter, left with the building management office/front desk. Or building entry code, keys hiding spot information, lockbox combination, etc.
Are you a pet friendly maid service?
Yes! At Gia’s Cleaning Services we LOVE pets but they may not always love us though. If you think your pet may become overly anxious while we are there, please make temporarily arrangements while we are in your home. You can text or call us with detailed instructions about your pets.
How far in advance do I need to schedule an appointment?
Sometimes same day service is available, but other times we are booked solid for 3 days – 1 week in advance.
Will you remind me about my appointment?
Yes,we will send you a reminder a couple of days before your cleaning day. It may be text message or an email.
Is Gia’s Cleaning Service insured and bonded?
Yes, Gia’s Cleaning Services is insured and bonded. We understand that it is a privilege to be in your home, and we are always careful. In the unlikely event that an object is damaged, please notify us within 24 hours of when the appointment is completed either by email email@example.com or by phone 773 406 9213
Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?
You can either provide them or we can bring everything, the price will vary though.

Do you clean during or after business hours?
We are working during both. Our cleaning staff is able to clean either during day or night, depending on your preference.Many customers prefer to provide us with a key for after-hours cleaning, so we can clean without disrupting your work.
Can I give specific instructions to the cleaners and ask for special requests?
Yes, you can either send a text message at 773 406 9213 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org all the special directions.
What is your cancellation policy?
You have 24 hours before your scheduled cleaning to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Any changes made with less than 24 hours notice will result in a $60 fee. You agree to this by booking a cleaning.
Does house cleaning include laundry?
If you have a washing machine and dryer in your home, we can absolutely wash and fold laundry for you! Be sure to add it as an extra during the checkout process so the professional can be sure to set aside enough time to clean your home and still have time for laundry (it will add an extra hours to your booking).
What days of the week and hours do you work?
If our clients need us to, we can work 7 days a week. Most of our customers prefer our morning or daytime cleaning service, but some customers have evening and night cleaning schedules.
How many people will be cleaning my place?
We will send one cleaner or a team of two or more professionally trained people depending on the size of the place and the job that needs to be done.
Will I get the same team each time when I hire Gia’s Cleaning service?
If you are a regular customer (get your place cleaned regularly weekly or biweekly), we will try to keep the same team to satisfy your needs. If you hire Gia’s Cleaning Service occasionally and would like to get the same team every time, please contact us to request the same crew at 773 406 9213
Does it take the same amount of time to clean different houses but of the same size?
All the houses are lived in the different way and are in different condition so it depends how does it look like and what you need to be done.Sometimes cleaning thoroughly means staying a little longer than usual to provide some extra attention. Our teams spend the time needed to get the best possible result.
Am I required to have any contracts with you to set up a cleaning?
No contracts at all! Our customers appreciate that at Gia’s cleaning service, We never ask for a commitment or contractual obligation to provide more flexibility and satisfy your needs.
What does cleaning service start and end time include?
For hourly jobs, we charge from the time we arrive on the premises, which includes unloading of our supplies and equipment from our vehicle, to the time we have finished cleaning, including the loading of supplies back into our vehicle.
Are tips included to the price?
Although tips are not included to the hourly charge, you are always to welcome to show the team your appreciation with a gratuity. The amount of gratuity is split equally among the members of the team. You may leave a cash gratuity for the team (preferred method) or add the gratuity to your payment by specifying the amount on the check.
Are you working at any weather conditions?
In case the weather is severe and we determine that it may not be safe to travel and carry equipment and supplies to your house, your cleaning service may be cancelled beforehand. When this occurs, we are able to reschedule and do our best to find another time that works best for you. We appreciate your understanding and accommodating!
Are there any things that you don’t do considering cleaning services?
We have instructed our staff to leave certain items untouched, such as items or areas containing any body fluids or excretions and litter boxes. If your pet has an accident or vomits, it won’t be our responsibility to clean it up. Our teams are advised to clean around these areas and just let the customer know about it.
Seasonal insect infestation may also prevent us from having your house completely cleaned. If ants, termites, roaches, fleas, etc., are encountered, we won’t be able to clean or vacuum the area. We will leave you a note, or call you regarding the problem.
items.Also, our staff can not climb higher than a step stool, work on the outside of your home, move furniture that contains electronics, lift any objects over 20 pounds, prepare meals, provide children-related services, or empty diaper pails.In addition, we do not clean inside curio cabinets, as well as fragile pieces of furniture, antique items.If you have other items you prefer we not clean or handle, please call the office and we will arrange to avoid those.
How could I prepare my house for the cleaning service before your team arrive?
Before the cleaners arrive, please make sure all the following items are taken from the countertops and surfaces :medicines,weapons,important documents. Please make sure there is no additional cash left besides the one that is supposed to be given to the workers for cleaning service. Also, that would be greatly appreciated if your jewelry, antique pieces of furniture and precious items are kept out of the cleaner’s way to make sure they remain secure and untouched during service.
